Assignment: design a playful digital service
This project is about redesigning a digital service: as ITU students, we addressed a familiar problem, that is the one of navigating and orienting oneself around the university building. The school’s current navigation systems do not seem to be of much assistance, and we often find ourselves more confused than relieved after reading one of the maps in the elevator.
Thinking of our future users (mainly students), we decided to create an interactive experience with the goal of making them more familiar with the space they find it so difficult to navigate in, more specifically by adding a playful aspect to a purely functional navigation system.
